Hydrant Hose Challenge

Everything this app knows about you stays on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics package and no advertising identifier. Nothing you photograph or record is uploaded anywhere.
Hydrant Hose Challenge is a fire-service water-supply simulator and field atlas for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. It applies to the app and to this website.
None is collected by us. We do not operate accounts and we do not receive your data. Everything the app produces is created and stored on your own device:
| What the app holds | Where it lives |
|---|---|
| Your name and company | On device |
| Hydrant photographs | On device |
| Colour readings and hydrant cards | On device |
| Incident reports and campaign progress | On device |
| Settings and preferences | On device |
This information is kept in a private folder inside the app's own container, which no other app can read. It never leaves your device through the app.
The app asks for camera access for two purposes: photographing a hydrant so its bonnet colour can be read, and taking a portrait for your profile. Both are analysed entirely on the device. If you choose to import an existing picture instead, the app reads only the single image you pick from your photo library. Images are not sent anywhere, and they are yours to delete at any time.
When the app opens it may make one optional request to check whether a notice needs to be shown. That request carries no identifier of any kind and nothing about you. If it fails, or if nothing is configured, the app simply opens as normal. Aside from this check, the app does not transmit your data over the network.
The app contains no third-party analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising SDKs and no advertising identifier. We do not build a profile of you and we have nothing to sell.
Because your data lives only on your device, there is nothing on our side to request, export or erase.
The app is a general-audience reference and simulation tool. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
